Domaine de Valensac

Domaine de Valensac belongs to the Mention family. Living and working in the North of France, the estate’s management is in the hands of the young and dynamic woman and entrepreneur Edwige Thuillé.
This 49 hectare (121 acre) property located just a dozen kilometers from the Mediterranean in the heart of Languedoc-Roussillon benefits from the maritime influence and cool soil, ideal conditions for making balanced white wines.
Domaine de Valensac cultivates typical grapes for this region: Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay (nearly 22 ha or 54 acres) as well as more unusual varietals like Petit Manseng, Riesling and Petit Verdot, lending a true originality to this winery.
All wines are classified as country wines or IGP Pays d’Oc with fruit-forward wines and higher-range wines vinified and/or aged in barrels and conical vats.
